Parakram Diwas

Parakram Diwas – Netaji Jayanti or Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Jayanti, formally known as Parakram Diwas or Parakram Diva, celebrates the birthday of prominent Indian freedom fighter Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose.

It is a national event celebrated in India It is celebrated on January 23rd every year. The Indian government has decided to celebrate the birthday of Netaji Subhash Chandra bose as Parakram Divas.

Parakram Diwas

To honor and remember his fortitude and selfless service to the country, the 23rd of January every year is celebrated as his Parakram Divas.

An invisible 90% transparent high-gain holographic screen is installed, making it invisible to visitors. Netaji’s 3D image of him is projected, creating a holographic effect. The hologram size is 28 feet high and 6 feet wide.

The day aims to inspire the people of India, especially the youth, to act bravely in the face of adversity. It also aims to instill a spirit of patriotism in young people.

About Parakram Diwas 2023

On 19th January 2021, a notice published in the Gazette was issued by the Government of India declaring 23rd January as Parakram Diwas every year.

The Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Museum was established at the Red Fort, New Delhi.

Commemorative coins and stamps dedicated to Subhash Chandra Bose were issued to commemorate this occasion.

The Indian government also celebrates other days associated with Subhas Chandra Bose and his Azad Hind Fauj (INA).

Trinamool parliament has announced that Netaji’s birthday will be celebrated as ‘Desh Nayak Diwas’.

About Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose on Parakram Diwas

Netaji his Subhas his Chandra Bose was born on 23rd January in Kathak (Orissa). He was born to Janakinath Bose and Prabhavati Dutt.

Affectionately known as Netaji, he was one of the prominent leaders of India’s struggle for freedom. The Indian National Army (Azad Hind Fauj) was created by him to overthrow the British Empire in India.

He was also an active member of the Youth Division of the Indian National Congress (INC). From 1938 to 1939 he also served as president of his INC.

About Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose on Parakram Diwas

On 19th January 2021, the Government of India, through the Ministry of Culture, issued a press release stating that from 23rd January 2021, the 125th Birth Anniversary of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose will be celebrated.

This holiday acknowledges Netaji’s sacrifice and his immense contribution to the Indian independence movement.

Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose was born on January 23, 1897, in Cuttak, Orissa, Orissa. His parents were Janakinath Bose and Prabhavati Dutt.

A brilliant scholar and a true Indian patriot, Netaji Bose received his Ph.D. in Philosophy from his College of Calcutta University Scottish His Church.

He then graduated from the British Indian Civil Service (ICS) in 1919, coming in fourth in his class and excelling in English. However, he did not want to serve the British government, so he resigned in 1921 and returned to India.

Upon returning to India, Netaji joined the Indian National Congress (INC) under the leadership of Deshbandhu Chittaranjan Das, who became his political leader.

He was also heavily influenced by the ideology of Swami Vivekananda and considered his spiritual guru. In 1923 Bose became chairman of the All India Youth Congress and in 1938 and 1939 he chaired the Congress.

In 1942, during World War II, Netaji raised and led a 5,000-strong force called the Azad Hind Forge (Indian National Army) in Southeast Asia under the slogan “Delhi Charo.”

He also formed a new political party, the Forward Bloc, to gain popular support in his home state of Bengal.

Netaji reportedly died on August 18, 1945, from his third-degree burns, which he received in a plane crash in the northeastern part of Taiwan, Japan.

His death was confirmed by the government in 2017, but there are still multiple conspiracy theories surrounding his disappearance.
