Radhika Seth, a content creator and fashion influencer, and actor, made her acting debut last year with the web series Call My Agent Bollywood. Although the show received a mixed response from critics and the audience, Seth is grateful that it changed people’s perceptions of her.
Call My Agent Bollywood is a spin-off of the French comedy series Dix Pour Cent (Ten Percent), which follows the exploits of four talent managers who must call in every favor they can think of and use every trick they know to keep their agency from going bankrupt. Radhika Seth, a social media influencer, made her acting debut in the series.
She portrays Nia, as a young girl who aspires to work in the world of talent management. The show is directed by Shaad Ali and stars Rajat Kapoor, Soni Razdan, Aahana Kumra, and Ayush Mehra as four agents. Radhika, who is from Delhi, began her career as a model and has appeared in numerous commercials. She then began social media influencing and quickly rose to prominence. She began influencing people five years ago.
She noticed a change in the West, where people were making a living and a career out of it. This was back when not many people in India were doing it. She simply decided to give it a shot. Radhika had always wanted to be an actor since she was a child. In fact, it was one of the reasons she relocated from Delhi to Mumbai. When she was in high school, she got the acting bug after appearing in a friend’s short film. She had always wished to be an actress after that. She admits that arriving on the sets on the first day of the shoot felt surreal. She still watches movies and television shows with wide eyes. She believes there is something supernatural about the way actors transform themselves into characters.
She witnessed the magic unfold around me while filming Call My Agent Bollywood. Her first day on set was also the most difficult. Because the way her scene was shot differed from the way it was written. It was a scene in which her character Nia was hired by the agency and she had to act nervous. “It was easy because I was nervous,” she admits. “I had no idea it had to be done so many times for different camera angles.
I was asked to walk around the cafeteria, showing anxiety, and I wasn’t sure which camera to face at first. But things gradually improved, and I was able to deliver an adequate shot without much difficulty.” Radhika has appeared in advertisements for L’Oreal Paris with Sakshi Malik, HP laptop advertisements with the one and only Deepika Padukone, and other major brands such as One Plus, Myntra, Sugarbear Hair, and others.
She has also been featured in prestigious magazines such as Peacock and GQ India. Radhika was always inspired to become an actress since she was a child, but being a complete outsider and having no contacts in the industry made her skeptical at first. Radhika, on the other hand, helped grave out and set a standard with her slaying Instagram photos. Radhika Seth has her own YouTube channel where she posts daily travel vlogs, skincare routines, and get-ready-with-me videos.
