An Enforcement Directorate had called Congress member Rahul Gandhi for further interrogation within the National Herald issue on Wednesday, following interviewing them for over 11 hrs on Tuesday. Inside the midst of everything, the major alternative group, the Congress, proceeded to agitate & quarrel only with the Bharatiya Janata Party, charging itself with plotting to discredit the Gandhi household via the “fake” lawsuit.
Rahul, 51, came there to ED offices at APJ Abdul Kalam Avenue through central Delhi on Tuesday with his sister, Congress national assistant Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, after being questioned for nearly 10 hrs the day before. His interrogation started at 11:30 a.m.
Following being interviewed in many meetings and submitting their testimony under the Prevention of Money Laundering Law, the erstwhile Congress presidents departed this federal company’s headquarters at 11:10 p.m. on Monday.
Underneath the Prevention of Money Laundering Act, his testimony was documented in successive rounds, and following Tuesday’s practice, he had accumulated over 21 hrs of interrogation through ED officials. On Wednesday, he will be questioned once more.
Leading members of Congress have been arrested.
On such 2nd day, hundreds of Congress officials and sympathizers were held outside the group offices at 24, Akbar Avenue and also in central Delhi when they attempted to stage a demonstration over the ED operation.
On Tuesday, the Delhi Cops arrested 217 Congress activists and officials from the New Delhi area, comprising 15 MPs, allegedly protesting in defiance of flagrantly unconstitutional measures and after being refused access. According to a cop, they were eventually freed.

Anurag Thakur, a Union minister, further slammed Rahul Gandhi for being questioned either by ED following the Congress member questioned Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s intention to create 10 lakh govt positions within the next 18 months. “All I have to suggest to Rahul Ji is that you must first furnish the ED with the correct responses towards the severe fraud accusations leveled upon you,” the BJP member said to journalists.
Congress accuses the BJP of plotting to discredit the Gandhis.
Congress, on either hand, charged the BJP with plotting to discredit the Gandhi parents as well as the organization by eroding its reputation via the Enforcement Directorate’s pursuit of a “fake” cash trafficking investigation. According to Congress’s national assistant and main spokesman Randeep Surjewala, the Central is afraid of Gandhi’s tactics because he raises concerns that affect the ordinary populace.
