In IGNCA Amphitheater, Indira Gandhi National Center of Arts, New Delhi, under the auspices occasion of the “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav”, Meenakshi Lekhi unveiled Temple 360, a website in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture. Smt. Meenakshi Lekhi. Smt. J. is the first person to launch the website officially which allows anyone to do darshan of 12 jyotirlingas and char Dham from any location in India or abroad.

Smt Meenakshi Lekhi wished every person a very good new year after announcing the website’s launch. At the website launch, she addressed the crowd, and quote, “Today we launched Temple 360, and I’m thrilled to see our young generation here dancing with full energy and happiness to Raghuvanshi Ji’s songs, which demonstrates the power of true India. There have been many reasons by which people couldn’t visit temples during Corona, and Temple 360 is a digital platform that allows anybody to view or perform darshan of the 12 Jyotirlingas and the Char Dham,” she said. Now it is possible to view the splendor of some of the most religious Hindu pilgrimages that exist in various areas of the country with the assistance of this initiative.

The temple 360 website will enable:

  •  One to visit a temple of the choice anytime and from anywhere in the country or abroad.
  •  This portal will help all the devotees to digitally witness the magnificence of some of the most pious Hindu pilgrimages.
  • It will allow the devotees to perform e-arti and several other services including E-Shringar and e-donation.
  • It will give an experience of spiritual Journey and Temple Darshan through life camera feeds 24×7 across temples of India.

Ministry is going to add features so the portal services through which one will be able to pay for services.

We celebrate “Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav” under the celebration of India’s 75th Independence. Because of which makes it a special occasion. Secondly and the most important thing it relates to Hindus Sentiments.

The portal was launched on April 2, 2022, on the occasion of Hindu New Year at Indra Gandhi National Center Of Arts. While addressing the gathering, Lekhi said the website was an effort to

enable people, who for various reasons may not be able to do so in person, to visit the various

historic shrines.

Connectivity of Char Dham:

The ministry of road and transport and Highway has undertaken a road construction so programmed to improve the connectivity of the Char Dham in Uttarakhand. Because of this more travelers will arrive to visit.

Out of the total 53 civil works covering the entire length of 889 km under the Chardham project, 40 civil works of the total project cost around RS. 9474 crore. So making the journey cheap and easy.
