After a musical concert in Kolkata, singer KK died on Tuesday at the age of 53. On May 31, the legendary Nazrul Mancha auditorium hosted a performance that lasted until 8:30 p.m. He became ill unexpectedly and was brought back to his hotel. He was hustled to the CMRI hospital in Kolkata when his condition worsened, where he was declared dead. KK, or Krishnakumar Kunnath, was a popular Indian playback singer. He sang in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Bengali, Assamese, and Gujarati, among other languages.
According to sources, singer KK’s initial autopsy report showed he may have had to underpin cardiac problems that contributed to his unexpected death after a performance in Kolkata on Tuesday. The recognizable singer died of a heart attack, according to the report, which also discussed “myocardial infarction,” which might have caused the recirculation of blood to Krishnakumar Kunnath’s heart to stop. According to sources citing the interim report, if a person has had the latent cardiovascular disease for a long time, there is a risk of myocardial infarction.
The Nazrul Manch auditorium in south Calcutta, where KK’s concert was held, was overpopulated, according to the staff. “The potential of our seats was 2,482, but the audience was more than the double.
KK was known for songs like ‘Pal’ and ‘Yaaron,’ which ended up going on to become big hits among teenagers in the late 1990s, and were frequently heard at young adolescent cultural activities and school and college farewells.
In Mumbai’s Versova, a large crowd has gathered to pay their respects to KK. Friends and family are beginning to arrive. There has also been an increase in security.
