Talking about Bollywood movies there are no ends to the talk. But there are surely some movies which left an impact on us.
1. 3 Idiots:
Farhan and Raju form a strong bond with Rancho in college because of his positive outlook. Years later, a bet allows them to search for their long-lost friend, whose existence appears to be enigmatic. This film is a comedy with strong acting, interesting characters, a bewildering plot, and, most importantly, a highly motivational film about choosing the right path in life.
2. Queen:
Queen is a fun and dramatic movie starring Kangana Ranaut as the leading lady named Rani.
After getting betrayed by her fiancée just before the wedding night, Rani is overwhelmed with emotions. She decides to go on her honeymoon alone by herself. Taking risks and confronting challenges is extremely difficult for a girl from a typical Indian family. Despite the limitations, Rani went ahead and did it. This film depicts Rani’s journey, including the adventures, love, and friendship lessons she learns.
3. PK:
An unwitting alien lands on Earth, but his communication device is lost. He goes through a lot of ups and downs in his search for his device. A fantastic film that encourages us to think about humanity rather than religion. It cleverly demonstrated, without disparaging anyone’s personal religious beliefs, that all religious ideology is a collection of man-made regulations that people perceive and take very personally.
4. No One Killed Jessica:
This movie also shows what journalism can accomplish when it isn’t used as a political tool.
Vidya portrays the role of Jessica’s sister, a barmaid who was murdered at a high-profile party, and Rani portrays an NDTV reporter Meera.
The case was repressed, eyewitness altered their declarations, and the offender was not found to be guilty due to politics.
5. Mom:
Mom is Bollywood superstar Sridevi’s final film before her untimely death this year. The story centers around a mother wanting revenge against a bunch of boys who attacked her daughter and escaped justice. While the plot is predictable, Sridevi’s outstanding and heartbreaking performance makes the film worthwhile to watch.
